Merry Christmas and some more!

I hope that all of you enjoyed your break this afternoon! It was really nice to have some extra time with my kids and to get some of my last minute Christmas stuff out of the way!

Here are a few Reminders while you are on break:

1. Please check the blog occasionally for updates throughout break.

2. You all should be attending gymnastics over the next two weeks except on Fridays. Please make sure that you are working on your skills and gaining new ones. But PLEASE be safe. We can not afford any injuries right now!

3. Top girls make sure you stretch over break everyday. It is important that your flexibility stays the same or gets even better!

4. All of you should be running over break to keep your endurance up. If not...it will be tough getting back in the swing of things and we really don't have a lot of time!

5. Casino tickets are due on Jan 4th. It is REQUIRED to sell all three. If you need more let me know!

6. Your Nationals payment is due on Jan 4th as well!

Finally....

I want to address the state score sheet "drama"......
It was made apparent after receiving our score sheets that there were some clear errors regarding a few of our scores. Please know that we are handling the situation and our athletic director is addressing the issue with CHSAA. Results will stay the same but, we feel as though the errors should be brought to the attention of CHSAA so that it is not an issue for any team in the future.

There is no need to contact the CHSAA office to express any sort of concern as it is already being addressed. We do not want to be labeled as "bad sports" or as "being a pain". I truly feel that we all need to move forward and direct all of the negative feelings into something positive.

I feel as though we are all in a good place and I am looking forward to the next several months after break! I wanted to leave you with a few quotes:

"Things turn out best for those who make the best of the way things turn out." John Wooden

" You can do nothing about yesterday, and the only way to improve tomorrow is by what you do right now!" John Wooden

Merry Christmas to all of you! I love each and everyone of you for exactly who you are!
I hope that all of you enjoy your families and friends during this holiday time!
